I sent some photographs of IS9 to the Daily Mail Lost and Found column.  Two responses were received from the widows of drivers in the unit, particularly Marion Park, who found a wealth of photographs and information, including an IS9 WEA Newsletter. We are looking to identify as many of these people as possible so please let us know if you recognise anyone or if you have any photos of this unit that we can add.  Just click on the photos to enlarge them.

Christopher Long very kindly sent me this image from his personal collection, after I enquired about the role of Major de Bruyne, when I found several addresses for him in my husband's things.

When first researching Intelligence School 9 (IS9) in 2006 we found nothing on the internet at all.  This website is simply to share as much information for other families and researchers about the extraordinary contribution to the war effort of this section of MI9.  If you have anything you would like adding to the site, please contact us.         We would very much like to do more research and expand the site so are fundraising to enable us to do this.  If you are able to help a little, please click here
